This is one of my favorite Iron Man action figures. After purchasing the figure at Target, I had to buy two! I am an avid robot action figure collector...from detailed Transformers figures to Iron Man figures, I pay special attention to the level of detail of an action figure before I place my purchase. For this Iron Man 2 figure in particular, I don't really care about the missiles or weapons that come with the figure. This Iron Man 2 Repulsor action figure alone stands to be a highly detailed figure that many people underestimate. I am surprised that this figure has not sold out yet anywhere, at least in my area. For all you Iron Man action figure collectors...you should not pass this figure up. Well-worth the ! He even talks if you press the triangle on his chest! Sweet! I catch myself staring at the figure in "awesomeness" because of the great detail. Paint applications are great...no smears or blotches. Hasbro has done it with this figure to perfection! If you are reading this review, I say don't hesitate and buy because you won't regret it! If there was a Repulsor-version War Machine I would be all over that too. Come on now Hasbro, you need to come out with a War Machine repulsor action figure with the same high level of detail as Iron Man. I am waiting...until that comes out I'll have to settle with the Marvel-Select version, which I hear mixed reviews on. Hope you enjoyed this review!

Too big for little kids - Bluecat - Miami
These are well made and look good. The only problem I had was that thay are HUGE. I purchased them for my 3 yr old and had to throw them away. They are more appropriate for a 12 yr old or teen.

Don't laugh - my 8 month old son wore this costume for Halloween this year. Granted, he's a hefty guy - all I had to do was cut off the length in the arms and legs, and it was a perfect fit.

It look like the muscle pads were just sewn inside the standard sized costume. This (obviously) takes up a lot of the interior room, making the arm holes, in particular, quite small. Would it stretch on a bigger kid, and just look even more like bulging muscles? Perhaps... Just calling it like I see it.

My son has been wearing this for days and loves it. We had to wash it since he got it dirty but came out just fine through the washer and dryer. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the mask. I would give the costume 5 starts and the 3 for the mask. The mask was cheap and broke after a couple of days. I would recommend getting a separate more durable mask.

This is a well made figure, as are all of the Marvel Select line, but watch out. The War Machine figure's mask goes on and comes off, but this one does not. You either get the mask on, or the mask slid up to reveal the face. I got the mask up because I thought it slid down, but it doesn't. If that is a deal breaker, now you know.

After much waiting I finally recieved War Machine and I can honestly say for the cheap price I paid this toy is cool,you can go on line and they cost so much more.I couldn't wait to give it to my son,he was sooo excited the detail is really lifelike he looks like Don C.I was more happy that my son was smiling the toy was bigger than we expected and he really loved the details and the removable mask.I can't wait for my sons Iron Man toy which we are still waiting for.

When I first saw the prelim sculpt months ago, I was really excited about this release. It looked highly detailed, especially the facial sculpt for Don Cheadle. I just picked it up at Borders (broke down and couldn't wait for my Amazon pre-order, which kept on getting delayed), and while it does look cool, there are some serious flaws that keep it from being exceptional. First off, the head sculpt is just as cool as the previews lead you to believe. It looks amazingly lifelike, and the mask fits snugly both on top of his head to reveal his face, and over his face, so there is no real chance of accidentally losing it in either position. Overall it does look pretty cool, but after having bought the 4 inch Hasbro figure, I did find a few things lacking. First of all, the eyes are done in red, to match the movie War Machine, but the chest and hand pieces are done in blue, like Iron Man. If you are going to go with one color, stick with it all around. Either make everything red or everything blue to match. It just looks a little strange. It also would have been nice to get additional sets of hands besides the default closed fists, just for a little variety, but no big thing. The biggest complaint I have, and this is after comparing it to the 4" War Machine, is the lack of articulation in this figure. I like the rage of motion the 4" offers in the arms, and even though the ball joint in the legs isn't my favorite, it offers more range of motion than the Diamond Select figure does. With this figure, you can't move the arms away from the sides (like if you wanted to form a "T" with the figure), and it's weird how much that hampers the range of movement of the figure, and therefore the ways you can pose it. It is also lacking all of the letterings and markings of the Hasbro figure (on the deltoids and the right oblique). All in all, a good looking figure, but it does say something when I actually think a figure half its size is done a lot better.
